Meghan MacMaster

My name is Meghan MacMaster and I grew up in the tiny picturesque village of Guysborough, Nova Scotia. I completed a Bachelor of Science at St. FX University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Upon completing my undergrad I discovered my love of travel and spent a few years backpacking and seeing the world. I then completed my Bachelor of Education at the University of Maine in 2011. I have lived and been teaching in Fort McMurray ever since and I'm so thankful for the opportunities Fort McMurray has provided me.
In my spare time I love spending time with family and friends, playing sports and being outside. When the weather allows I can be found exploring Fort McMurray and especially the Birchwood trail system with my partner and our two young boys.
One of my favorite things about teaching is building a repertoire with my students both inside and outside the classroom. I also love witnessing students blossom and their confidence grow as the school year progresses.
