I was born and raised in Clarenville Newfoundland and Labrador and I am a recent graduate of the Memorial University of Newfoundland secondary education program. My Fiancee and I are both teachers and proud dog-parents of our three year old pitbull, Kingsley! When I'm not teaching, you can find me in the gym, working out. I am a competitive bodybuilder and powerlifer, competing in competitions all over Alberta! Before completing my degree in education, I received a bachelor of arts in Biology and Geography, also from Memorial University. My passion for teacher was discovered when I worked as an educational assistant for FMPSD. As an E.A. I had the privilege to work at both Greely road and McTavish. Working with so many incredible students and staff made me realize that I want to dedicate the rest of the professional life to educating young minds. Teaching has many aspects that are quite rewarding but one my favorite things about teaching is watching a student discover a passion, whether it be a sport or a subject. It is so fantastic to have the chance to play a small role in the development and growth of the future generation.
