About Me

I have been married for nearly two years and am currently on maternity leave with my newborn son. I look forward to the next school year at McTavish. It is such a close-knit school, and I look forward to being back with my Marauder family.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and our dog, Snickers. I danced my entire childhood and continue to tap dance as an adult. I love curling up and reading a good book, as well as listening to music. Whenever I have the chance, I love to travel back to Ontario and Newfoundland to visit family.

I have a Bachelor of Arts with a major in French from Laurentian University, as well as a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa. I am in my fifth year of teaching and have experience teaching children from Kindergarten to the ninth grade. I was born and raised in Ottawa and moved to Fort McMurray nearly three years ago.

The thing I love most about teaching is the things I learn from students. They never cease to amaze me. Not a day goes by that they don't make me smile or laugh.
