Bonjour, je m'appelle Kaitlynn Gadzala et j'enseigne les Études Sociales au niveau secondaire en français ainsi qu'en anglais. J'ai déménagé à Fort McMurray en 2013 et j'enseigne au conseil FMPSD depuis 2015. Je viens d'une petite ville qui s'appelle Kincardine, en Ontario. Pour mes études universitaires, je me suis spécialisée en français à l'université de Waterloo et ensuite pour mon bac d'éducation je suis allée à Nipissing University a North Bay en Ontario. J'ai enseigné tout près de Toronto pendant un an après avoir fini mes études universitaires dans une classe d’immersion français de 6eme année.. Pendant cet an, j'ai rencontré mon mari qui travaillait ici, et il est la raison pour laquelle que je suis venue à cette ville incroyable! Nous avons deux filles, Noelle et Olivia et comme famille nous aimons passer le temps dehors en faisant plusieurs choses! J'ai hâte de me rejoindre à l'équipe extraordinaire McTavish et de poursuivre ce nouveau chapitre dans ma carrière!
My name is Kaitlynn Gadzala and I teach Social Studies in both English and French, in the senior high grades. I moved to Fort McMurray in 2013, and I started teaching at FMPSD school board in 2015. I grew up in a quaint cottage town in Ontario along Lake Huron, called Kincardine. I earned my B.A. from the University of Waterloo (Ontario), where I specialized in French and I got by my B.Ed. from Nipissing University (North Bay, Ontario). Just after graduating from my B.Ed, I taught as a homeroom French Immersion grade 6 teacher near Toronto, Ontario for one year. During that year, I met my husband, Ken, who has worked here since 2012. He is what brought me to this wonderful city! We have two beautiful daughters, Noelle and Olivia and as a family we enjoy outdoor activities. I'm so very excited to join the wonderful McTavish team and to pursue this new chapter in my career!
