Rania Mahdi

My name is Rania and I was born in Iraq but spent most of my childhood in Libya until I moved to Canada in 2007. I’ve completed my Bachelor of Science in psychology in 2018, my Bachelor of Arts in 2020 and most recently my Bachelor of Education in 2022. I am ecstatic to begin my teaching journey at École McTavish.

I strive to form a classroom community where every student feels included and where my students’ strengths are celebrated and highlighted. One thing that the students will always be exposed to is the growth mindset, where challenges and feedback are viewed as essential for growth. I am looking forward to all the memories and learning that this year will bring!
