I was born and raised in London, Ontario. I went to the University of Western Ontario for my undergraduate degree and Bachelor of Education. I moved to Fort McMurray in 2010, and have been a teacher at McTavish since we opened in 2011. I have a passion for teaching mathematics. It has been a joy to be a part of this great school!
I enjoy spending time with my husband, and two-year old daughter, Hannah. We also have a six-year old golden retriever named Steeler and a cat named Lacey. In my spare time I love to watch hockey and many other sports! I also grew up playing soccer and I played the piano. I also like to go for walks on our many trails in Fort McMurray, or explore new places in Alberta.
McTavish is an amazing place for the staff and students. I enjoy being around the positive attitudes of the students. Every day is a new adventure!
