My husband and I moved here from Newfoundland in 2008 with our daughter Macy and son Gavin. We feel so fortunate to be living in such a family friendly city like Fort McMurray.
I was a stay at home Mom until starting work with FMPSD in 2014. As a Casual EA and Casual Secretary, I was able to work in most of the schools in the district. In 2015, I joined the Ecole McTavish team and am so thankful to be a part of the amazing staff here. Everyone goes above and beyond to make students feel at home and a part of our Marauder family. Working in the office gives me the opportunity to meet parents and talk to many students. Hopefully we are able to make each day a little brighter with a smile. In my spare time, I enjoy watching my kids play on sports teams, going camping and walking my little Maya Papaya puppy.
