Amy Riley

I was born and raised on the west coast of Newfoundland and I have been an active member of the FMPSD since 2007.  Many of you may recognize me from my time spent teaching at Composite High.  Currently, I am teaching Physical Education at Ecole McTavish and I am truly blessed to work with such an amazing staff and students.  

Aside from spending time with my family, I enjoy the outdoors and being active.  I love to workout, play sports, cycle, coach and travel.

I graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2006 with a degree in Education (BEd.) followed by a second degree in Special Education (BSpEd.) in 2007.  I was first inspired to teach by my high school PE teacher, coach and mentor and ever since I truly believe “teaching is a work of the heart”.
