Physical Education, Sport Performance

Hi, my name is Mitchell Hewitt, and I teach Physical Education and Sports Performance at École McTavish Senior High School.

 

I studied Kinesiology and Education at the University of Calgary, specializing in Secondary Physical Education. Among a general interest in science, my curiosity for human physiology and movement stems from participation in running and minor hockey growing up. Exercise continues to be an integral part of who I am, and I truly believe in its potential to help one thrive and overcome challenges.

 

Some of my personal interests include classic fiction novels, music, exercise, and the outdoors. Much of my time as a raised Calgarian was spent in the mountains.
